Strength and Honor
By Joe Harrison
For reasons that continue to escape me, it seems impossible to get conservative citizens to stand up and take action. Yes we’re unhappy, yes we’re concerned, yes we complain, but that’s pretty much it. We won’t organize; we won’t take action of any kind.
The reason we’re losing everything, our morals, our rights…everything, is because we seem to be sitting by waiting for someone else to step up and take care of it all for us. That isn’t going to work. 75% of the country is Christian yet your child doesn’t have the freedom to say a blessing over his lunch at school. Why? Because much smaller groups organized and protested until they got their way. They took action.
Most of us were less than happy with the Republican candidate in the last election so many didn’t even bother to vote. Well, the liberals did get out and vote and look what that got us. How is that working out?
I’ve already written about this once but; were you aware that there is a million Muslim march planned on Washington DC on September 11th? Yes, the same people we have been at war with for the last 10 years, the same people who attack us over and over again on our own soil, the same people who are systematically taking over our country step by step, have the nerve to march and protest for more rights and Sharia law on the very anniversary of the worst terror attack in the history of the country. What will WE do? Sit back, watch it on TV and complain about it? Well, there are some of us who are taking action, there’s a conservative march planned on DC for September 9th. I feel certain my friend Bill will read this and post a comment with the details of the march, but the question is…Will you support it? Will you be there? If you can’t, will you even march on your own State Capitol on the same day?
Perhaps the reason we’re not acting is because we’re all busy working to support the other half of the country who are sucking us dry. Well, once the amnesty bill and Obamacare pass, you’ll probably lose your job, or at least your full time status anyway, might as well get busy doing something.
Perhaps it’s because we feel that our elected leadership will take care of us. Really?? Some are working very hard for us, but others have simply sold out, Ted Cruz can’t do it all by himself. Remember, it was Rubio who orchestrated the amnesty bill that’s going to drive a stake through the heart of the American worker and McCain who signed off on it. The Republican Party is gone, they simply aren’t there for us anymore; it’s up to us now as citizens.
Perhaps we feel we’re powerless and would only be fighting for a losing cause. Let me just address that. You, yes YOU, sitting there in front of your computer, on your phone or tablet reading this story; you are potentially one of the most powerful entities on the face of the earth. YOU are a citizen of the United States of America. All you have to do to activate that power is do something…anything. When you join with another and work together, your power doubles. When the two of you continue to join with others, the power continues to grow; before you know it, you are a force. As the force continues to act, you become a movement spreading across the country. From there who knows? Maybe, just maybe, if we act fast enough, we can return our country to what it once was; the greatest country in the world. A country to be proud of, a place of strength and honor, a place of morals and values, a place where you can raise your family in the manner you see fit without fear of the Government. A place where our elected officials could be trusted and corruption is wiped out. A place where you can trust your local law enforcement instead of a place controlled by an occupying army known as the DHS.
The other option is to sit back and watch the last free nation in the world die a miserable death. I know which option I have chosen…do you?
